In 1999, the shrine of Shree Sant Wahalkarbuwa was restored. Then Shree Sant Digambarbaba Walawalkar and Sree Maharaj built a small Maruti dome at Sawarde village on the bank of river Kashyapi where he was cremated and built a shrine beside it and installed the Asthi Kalash (scared remains) there.
Since 1953, Shree Digambarbaba has been living there. Shree Maharaj started the death anniversary celebration of Shree Wahalkarbuwa in the same year. Shree Maharaj used to attend every year himself and see that the festival went off as it should. Shree Sitarambuva died on 18th January 1969. The shrine of Wahalkarbuwa was not properly maintained, the small building fell into a very dilapidated condition. When Shree Kaka Maharaj went to Dervan to embody all the resolutions of Shree Maharaj, he revived the temple of Shree Wahalkarbuwa and built a very beautiful place on the banks of Kashyapi.
In the core of this temple, the Paduka (holy footwear) of Shree Wahalkarbuwa and a magnificent image of him are painted in oil color by painter Mr. Kalyan Shetye from Sangli. There is a spacious hall in front and a large courtyard around the temple. There is an Audumbar tree behind the temple. At its base is a crystal Shivalinga installed by Shree Maharaj and also a well dug by Digambarbaba himself. The river Kashyapi flows on the left side. The small Maruti temple is on the right side of the temple. This is the perfect space for meditation.
