Agricultural Sustainability and Biodiversity

The Vedas, with their deep connection to nature and holistic principles, emphasize that the natural processes of growth and cultivation are far more balanced and efficient than human intervention can often achieve. They teach that by aligning ourselves with nature's rhythms—whether it’s through the cycle of seasons, understanding the importance of soil health, or allowing plants to grow in harmony with their environment—nature produces the most nourishing food.

Therefore Organic agriculture, through its systemic approach and avoidance of agro-chemicals, prevents natural resource degradation and the loss of land and productive potential is practiced by SVJCT. We do not use synthetic substances (e.g. fertilizers, pesticides, pharmaceuticals).
