In 1970, Shree Maharaja built a raised platform next to the shrine of Sree Sant Sitarambuwa Walawalakar and expressed the wish to build a temple of Shree Rama in its place. Shree Ram is the adorable deity of Shree Maharaj. Shree Maharaja might have had the plan to build it and complete it with his disciple; hence he did not build and complete that temple himself. Shree Kaka finally completed building the temple in December 1995. The red stone used for this temple was brought from Sankeshwar in Karnataka. Shree Kaka himself had gone there twice to fetch that particular kind of stone.
Six beautiful panchdhatu (made of five metals) idols of Shree Rama, Shree Sitamai, Shree Lakshman, Shree Hanuman, and Akkalkot Niwasi Shree Swami Samarth and Shree Sahajananda Saraswatee Maharaj were made to be installed in this temple. Tuesday, January 2, 1996, a grand procession of this idol was taken from Sawarde Market to Shiv-Samarthgad. The entire procession route was decorated with saffron flags, flags, cloth panels, and arches. The idols were mounted on a decorated chariot.
