Vedpathshala

Shri Maharaj aims to promote traditional Indian values, ethics, and practices while ensuring that ancient wisdom is made accessible to contemporary society. Our initiative focuses on imparting knowledge about the Vedas, ancient Indian scriptures, and other spiritual, philosophical, and cultural teachings rooted in Indian tradition. We emphasize the preservation and propagation of Vedic knowledge, offering courses or training in Sanskrit, rituals, mantras, and philosophies from classical Indian texts.

The Shri Sadguru Vasudevanant Saraswati Vedpathshala in Pune is famous all over the country for its Vedic studies conducted there in the Gurukul style. Benefiting from the disciplined atmosphere of the samadhee mandir (shrine), not only teaching of the Vedas conveyed here, but the Vedic Brahmin is made to stand as a role model before the society.

The children are selected and admitted to the five-year Smaart (स्मार्त) Yadnya course, with all responsibilities taken on by the institution. Vedpathshala includes lectures, discussions, and teachings by experts in Vedic traditions and also engages in community-based activities like spiritual practices, yadnyas (rituals), and other religious events.

The primary goal of our Vedpathshala is to preserve and share the timeless knowledge of the Vedas and other sacred Indian texts, contributing to the spiritual and intellectual development of individuals and society.
