In 2019, the S.V.J.C. Trust achieved yet another milestone on their journey of social upliftment in this downtrodden region - the ‘B.K.L. Walawalkar College of Physiotherapy’ was established in affiliation with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik to introduce physiotherapy education in the Konkan region beginning with a capacity of 40 students with the approval from the Government of Maharashtra.
Some key highlights of this new addition to the campus:
1. Bachelor of Physiotherapy, a 4-year degree course plus mandatory 6 months internship
2. Excellent infrastructure and facilities with fully equipped Kinesiotherapy and Electrotherapy laboratories
3. The Physiotherapy College is attached to B.K.L. Walawalkar hospital and B.K.L Walawalkar Medical College, Kasarwadi, allowing students to gain maximum experience in real-life settings.
