From June 8, 2025, to July 25, 2025
Ghana Parayan is a highly esteemed Vedic recitation ceremony that showcases the advanced Ghanapatha style of chanting, one of the most intricate and rhythmic forms used to preserve the Vedas. The chanting followed a unique repetitive pattern that enhances memorization and precision, ensuring the flawless oral transmission of sacred texts with traditional invocations and rituals, including continuous recitations of selected Vedic portions. This spiritual journey involves daily parayan sessions where scholars and devotees participate in the recitation and listening of Vedic scriptures with devotion and discipline. The Rigved Ghanaparayan began on June 8, 2025, and ended on July 25, 2025, and it was performed by our scholar Vedmurti Mandar Kshirsagar. It was carried out daily and concluded with a closing ceremony where gurus blessed the scholar and acknowledged the dedication of both learners and teachers. Ghana Parayan serves not only as a scholarly milestone but also as a spiritual offering that celebrates the living tradition of the Vedas.
